BARROW overcame an early scare to dominate amateurs Hunslet Warriors in the Challenge Cup at Craven Park.
Visiting full-back Gary McClelland scored a fine try to give the Warriors an early lead, with Scott Walker close to increasing it before Barrow found their feet.
There was then a spell of 22 points in 10 minutes for the home side as Liam Campbell, Andy Ballard, Andy Henderson and Ned Catic went over the line to put Barrow in control.
Chris Larkin and Martin Ostler both scored before the break as Raiders led 34-6 at the interval.
The visitors again started strongly after the break, Karl Featherstone scoring their second try, before Brett McDermott and Mossop responded.
Ballard, Mossop and Catic all grabbed a second before the end, woth Rob Roberts harshly sent-off in the 72nd minute for a swinging arm.
