Barrow Raiders winger Ryan Shaw has signed a new one-year deal with the club, keeping him at the Northern Competitions Stadium until at least the end of the 2025 season.
The contract extension will see the 32-year-old move into his sixth season with the club, and his fifth in a row since rejoining the Raiders from Leigh in 2021.
Throughout his five years at hometown club Barrow, Shaw has made 117 appearances, scoring 41 tries.
Last season, he lined up 26 times and scored seven tries, equalling his tally from each of the previous two seasons.

Shaw averaged a try every other game in the important run-in to last season’s Betfred Championship campaign, scoring four in the last eight, including one on the final day against Widnes Vikings.
Reflecting on the new deal, Shaw said: “Staying at the Raiders for the 2025 season was a very easy decision to make.
“This will possibly be my last season playing, so I’m happy it’s with my hometown club.”
Barrow Raiders head coach Paul Crarey said: “We are delighted that Ryan has agreed to pull the boots on for another season. Without doubt, he has won many games for the club with his prolific goal-kicking ability.

“He’s certainly a character around the place, and his experience is invaluable with the younger players we have at the club.
“Ryan looks after himself well, and we look forward to seeing him on the field again next season.”
Director of rugby Andy Gaffney said: “Whilst it is important to integrate new talent into the squad, securing the services of one of your standout players from the last few seasons is equally as vital.
“We are pleased that Ryan has agreed a new deal, and everyone at the club is looking forward to seeing Ryan don Raiders colours once more in 2025.”
