JETS programme underway

Barrow Raiders coaching team, headed by Paul Crarey, held their opening session of the JETS programme on Monday 7th September with over 25 local community game coaches in attendance.

Over 180 youngsters aged 11-17 have signed up and they join the scheme on 21st September for a 5-week programme designed to improve their skills.

Barrow Raiders are determined to help provide a pathway for all local youngsters to reach the open age game whether that be at professional, semi-professional or community game level.

We are hoping that some of the older members of the group will progress to the Furness Raiders team in the not too distant future.

The Super Lotto, run by the Auxiliary Branch, helps to finance our junior development programmes and is always looking for new members to help the local game prosper.

Barrow Raiders would like to thank all the sponsors who are really making a difference to rugby league youth development.
