Barrow Raiders have unveiled their new home kit for the 2025 season, which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the club.
The new shirt will be adorned with red and black stripes as opposed to the club’s traditional blue and white, which has become synonymous with the Raiders over recent years.
The 2025 home design mirrors the kit worn by the very first Barrow RLFC team in 1875.
These were also the colours that were Barrow’s until after the 1937/38 season, when two successful cup runs in the Lancashire Cup and Challenge Cup saw them wear the alternate blue and white for much of the journey to Wembley, and the subsequent swap to home colours.
There are shirts already on order to meet the reservations for the 150th anniversary season tickets which went on sale back in August, but such has been the demand, extra shirts will be required.
Our kit suppliers have given us until Friday 25 October to ensure pre-Christmas delivery.
Shirts, shorts and socks are now available to pre-order online.
The new alternative kit will be unveiled at our Sponsors Evening in January.
