Our passion is to serve and entertain the communities who support us as we steadily grow; developing the talented players who join us, investing in the youth of our local communities, and stimulating business for Barrow Raiders, our partners and the town. The club is built on a foundation of loyalty and shared responsibility. The Board of Directors are custodians and honoured to push the club forward. We take pride in all that has come before us, and all that we have done to get to where we are.
What awaits us, and everyone involved in the club, is an exciting future.
Off the field optimism needs to be matched on the pitch and we were unable to maintain our Championship status with a lower playing budget than many other clubs. The club would like to improve the strength of its playing squad and player retention.
The 1875 Club has been launched following the success of other clubs running similar squad-builder funds. Please consider backing Barrow Raiders and joining.
The aim of the fund is to provide a new income stream that is independent of, but complementary to, the existing efforts of both the club and the Supporters’ Trust. Additional funds will help sign and retain players or help towards loan signings etc
A dedicated bank account has been opened and supporters, wherever they live, can contribute however much they like by setting up a monthly Standing Order or electronic bank transfer.
