Barrow Raiders centre Greg Worthington admits the enjoyment of reaching 100 career tries pales into insignificance following Sunday’s defeat at Swinton Lions.
Worthington bagged his first for the club at Heywood Road, having joined from Halifax Panthers during the off-season.

But it wasn’t enough to prevent the Raiders from falling to an agonising 20-18 defeat in the latest round of Betfred Championship action.
Speaking after the match, he admits the squad let two competition points slip through their grasp.
“It’s obviously a nice little milestone for myself, but in terms of the bigger picture it’s not a good result at all today,” Worthington said.
“We had the game won, and we gave it away at the end.

“There are some lessons that need to be learned, and the good thing about rugby league is that we get to try and make it right next week.
“We go to York, and hopefully we’ll put on a performance.”
