Barrow Raiders are delighted to announce that League 1 top try scorer Tee Ritson has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

Ritson, 25, has been in sparkling form scoring 10 tries in the opening seven games of the season and the Raiders have moved fast to secure his services until the end of the 2024 season.

On the new deal, the winger said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have signed a three-year extension at Barrow Raiders. I really feel like this club is going places, and I’m humbled that the club want to include me on their journey.

“From day one this club and the town in general have welcomed me with open arms, and I’m looking forward to returning my gratitude on the pitch and within the community.”

Ritson is a vital member of the Advantage! Barrow Raiders Community Foundation team.

Club chairman, Steve Neale, said: “We are not in the business of selling our best players with the club having our own lofty ambitions.

“Tee, of course, is also a vital member of our Community team so it is with double delight that he is staying with us.

“Barrow Raiders have been guilty in the past of not looking to secure longer term deals for their local talent but that policy will change if we are confident that the players can produce at a higher level.

“Tee is settled and based in the town so is officially an adopted Barrovian. Massive thanks, once again, to his sponsor, Paul’s Carpets of Dalton.”
