Barrow Raiders forward Tom Hopkins has signed a two-year deal with the club.
The new contract will keep him at the Raiders until the conclusion of the 2024 season.
Hopkins first joined the club ahead of the 2020 campaign and has gone on to make 36 appearances in total, scoring twice.
He was a consistent performer upon the Raiders’ return to the Betfred Championship, and his displays earned him a first call-up to the Wales national team.

The 30-year-old made his international debut during the Dragons’ mid-season test in France, and also came off the bench against Tonga in the Rugby League World Cup group stages.
Discussing his decision to stay, Hopkins said: “I feel at home in Barrow. I’ve enjoyed two very successful years at the club, getting promoted in my first full season at the club before making the play-offs the following year.
“Last year was eye-opening. The standard in the Championship is the most competitive I’ve ever played.
“Looking back, I know I need to get better, and I believe that being part of this Barrow team will be an opportunity for me to reach my potential.”

Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale said: “Tom has been Mr. Dependable since he joined the club and proved that he has the talent to compete at Championship level.
“The fact that he earned a World Cup call-up for Wales speaks volumes about his consistency, and he is another player that adds squad depth with no reduction in talent.
“Competition for places in the forwards promises to be intense, but we are sure that Tom will force his way into the team and not let the side down.”
