Barrow Raiders’ squad numbers for the 2024 season have been revealed.

The Raiders have handed starting shirts to a number of new signings, with Brad Walker taking the number six jersey following his arrival from Keighley Cougars on a two-year deal.

Matty Costello (3) and James Greenwood (13) have also been given starting numbers.

Several starting backline shirts have also changed hands, with Shane Toal moving from two to four, Ryan Shaw from five to two and Andrew Bulman climbing from 27 to five after a stand-out 2023 campaign which saw him score 11 tries in 22 appearances – including nine in his last six games of the season.

After a three-game pre-season schedule, the Raiders return to competitive action on Sunday 28 January with a trip to local rivals Workington Town in the group stages of the 1895 Cup.

Paul Crarey’s side will get their Betfred Championship season underway with a trip to Widnes Vikings in Round 1 on Sunday 17 March.
