Barrow Raiders have announced that Howdens, the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier, will become official partners of the club’s Betfred Women’s Super League side. 

The news comes ahead of Barrow Raiders Ladies’ debut season in Group 1 of the Women’s Super League, which begins this Friday.

Amanda Wilkinson’s Raiders Ladies were promoted via the play-offs in 2023 and will begin their 2024 campaign with a trip to Wigan Warriors – Wilkinson’s former club. 

Howdens was established in 1995 to provide trade customers with kitchens, joinery, and hardware products, which are available from local stock at depots across the UK and Europe – including Barrow.

Starting with just 14 depots, there are now more than 800 locations helping the trade achieve exceptional results for their customers.

They were voted in the Top 25 Best Big Companies to work for by the Sunday Times in 2020, and have also held a Royal Warrant by Appointment to supply goods and services to royal households since 2015.

As part of their agreement with the Raiders, Howdens will have a strong presence at the Northern Competitions Stadium throughout the season and on a Barrow Ladies matchday.

Howdens Barrow depot manager Caroline Dixon said: “We are ecstatic to be supporting Barrow Raiders Ladies in 2024.
