As we enter the final stretch of the 2024 Betfred Championship, all eyes are on who will finish in the top-six, earning themselves a play-off spot, and equally who will slip into the unwanted relegation places at the foot of the table.
The top six will compete in a play-off series, with the final to be played at the home of the finalist which finished highest in the league in the regular season.
The bottom two (13th and 14th) will automatically be relegated, while the side finishing 12th will host the side winning the League 1 Promotion Final in a play-off match to determine which club will compete in a 13-team Championship in 2025.
With eight games remaining, Paul Crarey’s side sit 11th, five points off of Featherstone in sixth place.
Additionally, Amanda Wilkinson’s women’s side will be aiming to finish strongly in their first season in the Betfred Women’s Super League.
Whilst play-offs are mathematically off the cards, Barrow Ladies still hold a good chance of finishing in the top five, with games against Warrington, Featherstone and Huddersfield still to come between now and the end of the season.
