Barrow Raiders are delighted to announce the addition of five new directors to the board.
Andrew Bache, Keith Jackson and Rupert Pritchard were voted onto the board by the club’s members at the recent EGM whilst Suzy Garnett and John Hesketh were co-opted onto the board at a recent board meeting.
Andrew Bache is a retired finance director with experience in accountancy, Keith Jackson is a former auditor with the local council and Rupert Pritchard works in BAE Systems, with experience in business development and project and programme management.
Suzy Garnett is the owner of local film company Redrock Productions, and has extensive experience in media and marketing, whilst John Hesketh joins us from Swinton Lions and has a wealth of experience managing the North West region’s Deaf Society and is a perfect fit to work closely with our Advantage! Barrow Raiders Community Foundation.
The new directors will join chairs Steve Neale and Jayne Stewart.
Their first board meeting was held and there were lots of positive ideas about the future of the club. Watch this space as we build up to our 150th anniversary in 2025 with some exciting initiatives for our supporters.
