Barrow Raiders will host Workington Town in a pre-season friendly on Sunday 12 January.
It is the Raiders’ first confirmed friendly as preparations begin ahead of the new Betfred Championship season. The Cumbrian clash will be a 3pm kick-off at the Northern Competitions Stadium.
Tickets are now on sale, priced at £12 for adults. Juniors will be able to attend free of charge.
Further friendlies – including one against Betfred Super League opposition – will be announced by the club in due course once details are finalised.
Paul Crarey’s squad, who are already back in pre-season training, will return to competitive action over the weekend of January 25-26, when the second round of the Betfred Challenge Cup takes place.
