JETS is an initiative which sees head coach Paul Crarey and his team provide an invite to amateur coaches in the area to gain insight and benefit from their professional coaching expertise. This year, JETS celebrates its 10th anniversary!

What does it mean to you to support Barrow Raiders through opportunities such as this?
Sponsoring the JETS programme is a deeply meaningful opportunity for Green Cooling.
In South Cumbria, young players often lack the same access to high-quality training and exposure as those in Lancashire or Yorkshire. Supporting this programme allows us to help level the playing field, giving local talent a chance to excel in rugby league.

From your perspective, what is it that makes the JETS programme so unique?
The JETS programme is exceptional because it provides a rare opportunity for South Cumbria’s young players to shine in rugby league, where opportunities are often scarcer than in Lancashire or Yorkshire.
My son, Joshua Blinkhorn, thrived in the programme, cherishing his time training with Barrow Raiders’ pros alongside Furness Raiders, which led him to play for England and now Whitehaven.
Its unique mix of elite coaching, skill development and values like discipline and teamwork makes it a transformative platform, accessible to all, and Green Cooling is honoured to support this launchpad for rugby league stars of the future.
