Barrow Raiders would like to take a moment to thank Northern Competitions, whose time as main club sponsors has now come to an end.

Northern Competitions’ naming rights of Craven Park have also been relinquished.

The club is currently in the process of finalising a deal with new main club sponsors, which we are hopeful of announcing in the coming days.

Northern Competitions first came on board as main club sponsors two years ago. During the intervening time, they have provided significant financial input which has ensured the club has been able to compete at the top end of the Betfred Championship.

Although their time as main club sponsors has ended, Northern Competitions will continue to support the club by becoming front-of-shirt sponsors of the Able Raiders, our learning disability side.

Our Able Raiders currently compete in the Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League and travel to a number of festivals across the country each season. In recent years, they have also been invited to take to the field at Magic Weekend, UK rugby league’s showpiece event.

Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale said: “I would like to personally thank Ryan and Northern Competitions for all their support.

“Ryan has been a joy to work with, and we hope that his business continues to thrive. Hopefully the exposure of being our main sponsor has given him the brand awareness he deserves for all the effort he puts into the community.

“We believe Ryan is planning to continue to back a multitude of smaller local causes, and our Advantage! Barrow Raiders Community Foundation would like to extend their thanks for him becoming their main shirt sponsor for the 2026 Learning Disability Super League team.

“The fact that we were able to host our Cumbria fixture late last year was entirely down to Ryan, as without his funding support it couldn’t have taken place. I wish him well for the future.”
