Barrow Raiders Ladies’ squad numbers for the 2026 season have been revealed.
Once again this year, a total of 23 players have been handed first team squad numbers ahead of the forthcoming campaign.
Of those 23, three have been given numbers for the first time – Imogen Smillie (20), Hannah Thompson (21) and Amy Carruthers (22).
All three came through the club’s female pathway and represented the Raiders Ladies in the Betfred Women’s Super League last season, stepping up from the Under 19s.
New signings Blossom Howell and Fern Henderson have received shirt numbers 19 and 24 respectively.
The returning Sam Norman takes number one, while Chloe Capstick receives the two shirt which was vacated by Shannon Parker at the end of last season.
Emma Hutchinson, another who returns for 2026, has been given shirt number five and lines up on an edge with twin sister Claire, who retains four.
Lucy Dickinson enjoyed an excellent first year with the club in 2025 and has continued to impress during pre-season. She has been rewarded with a starting shirt number for the first time (11), lining up in the back row alongside vice-captain Vanessa Temple.

Amanda Wilkinson’s side get their 2026 campaign underway with a trip to York Valkyrie in the Betfred Challenge Cup group stages on Saturday 11 April. The new league season opens with a home game against St Helens on Sunday 17 May. All fixtures are available to view here.
