Barrow Raiders forward Ellis Robson has agreed a new one-year deal with the club.
The contract extension will see Robson enter his third season in Raiders colours, having first joined ahead of the 2025 season.
Prior to his time with Barrow, Robson spent two years with Keighley Cougars and one at Newcastle Thunder.
The 28-year-old has hit some of his best career form with Barrow, featuring 52 times since making the move to Cumbria.
“It was an easy decision for me to stay at Barrow this year,” Robson said.
“We have a top group of lads, on and off the pitch, and I’m excited to see how much more we can progress and achieve together next year.
“From day one, everyone has made me feel welcome. I’ve had two of my most enjoyable seasons, and I can’t wait for that to continue into 2027.”
Barrow Raiders director of rugby Andy Gaffney said: “We had high expectations for Ellis when he first arrived at the club, and he certainly hasn’t disappointed.
“He is part of a core group of experienced players that have continued to develop, both individually and collectively, and we are keen to see that continue next season.
“Ellis is also a fantastic role model for our younger players coming through, and people like that really help to build a positive culture for clubs like ours.”
