Recap

Raiders completed the double over Whitehaven where a dominant second half display saw Raiders score thirty unanswered points.

Raiders were off to a flyer when Haven full-back Luke Broadbent was sinned binned in the 4th minute for pushing Raiders winger Brett Carter into the advertising hoarding. From the resulting penalty, Raiders took the ball out wide and Tee Ritson touched down acrobatically at the corner flag.

A minute later, a break from Matt Costello put Jarrod Sammut in to score from 30m and Raiders were 10 – 0 up once Ryan Shaw converted.

Haven scored just before the half time hooter to reduce the gap to 10 – 6 at the break.

Raiders dominated the second period. Greg Burke powered in on debut. Matt Costello grabbed his fourth Raiders try. Jarrod Sammut scored from a Costello break. Tee Ritson finished off a break by Sammut and Anton Iaria scored after a break by Charlie Emslie.
