Barrow Raiders gear up for their penultimate fixture and final home outing of the 2025 regular Betfred Championship season this Sunday by hosting Halifax Panthers at the Northern Competitions Stadium.
After five consecutive defeats in the league, the Raiders returned to winning ways last weekend, edging past Doncaster in a 32-22 victory in South Yorkshire.
With just two games of the season remaining, Paul Crarey’s side find themselves within two points of a spot in the playoffs, behind this weekend’s challengers, Halifax Panthers. The Raiders know that they must win their final fixtures and rely on the results of teams around them to go their way to stand a chance at breaking into the top six.

Squad news
The 21-man squad has been named for our fixture against Halifax Panthers.
There are just two changes from the victory against Doncaster last weekend. Half-back Ryan Johnston will sit out the remaining two fixtures as he undergoes surgery, whilst Andrew Bulman misses out through injury.
In their stead, forward Tom Walker returns to the lineup, alongside youngster Dan Knott.

Sunday’s Betfred Championship fixture at the Northern Competitions Stadium kicks off at 3:00pm. Match tickets, available to buy online at a discounted price until midnight the day before the game, or at the turnstiles, are priced as follows:

*All juniors are free, but those UNDER secondary school age must be supervised by an adult.
