A new era for Barrow Raiders is set to surface on Friday 9 October.
The club’s name and colours will remain the same, but the club will unveil a new crest and identity: one that speaks to the town’s industrial heritage and its future.
Barrow is a special place: a place built on hard work and toughness. Nowhere is that better represented than on the field at the Speed Competitions Stadium, Craven Park. Our new identity will well and truly put the story and character of the town on the shirts of the men and women who take to the field in our town’s name.
We are entering a new era as a club. Over the last few years we have built a competitive team on the pitch and broadened opportunities for boys and girls from across the local area to be Raiders players. We are now moving that philosophy a couple of steps further.
We are turning to the town.
As part of the new era, Barrow Raiders is today launching a new 2027 membership structure, designed to give every supporter a place within the club, whether they live locally, follow the club from further afield, want to attend every home game, or simply want to maintain their connection with the Raiders.
The 2027 memberships do not take away the rights of existing debenture holders and do not come with voting rights.
At the heart of the new membership is a founding members’ board.
Every member will receive a unique number. Members will also receive a membership card, have their name displayed on the founding members’ board at the Speed Competitions Stadium, Craven Park and receive discounts in the club shop.
There are five 2027 membership levels, starting at just £50.
Not everyone who follows this club lives in Barrow. Some work away. Some moved away years ago and never stopped checking the score on a Sunday afternoon.
The Raider Membership is for them.
For £50, supporters receive their founding members’ board number, membership card, their name on the founding members’ board and 10% off in the club shop.
Season Membership: £170 (Early bird price for the first 150 members, rising to £190)
The Season Membership includes every home league game of the 2027 season, at the same price as last year. Supporters who renewed last season will pay what they paid previously.
It also includes a membership card, a place on the founding members’ board, 10% off in the club shop and the option to pay in instalments.
Under 16s will continue to come in free
Blueprint Membership: £210 (Early bird price for the first 150 members, rising to £230)
The first season of a new identity is one you ought to be wearing, not just watching.
Blueprint includes everything in the Season Membership, plus the new 2027 shirt. We will contact supporters to choose their size after joining, with orders placed by the end of October delivered before Christmas.
True Blues Membership: £425 (100 available)
For supporters who want to be nearer the team than the touchline allows.
Limited to 100 members, True Blues Membership includes everything in Blueprint Membership, plus a squad-signed shirt, the same reserved seat throughout the season, two guest tickets to a game of their choosing, an invitation to the end-of-season dinner, a visit to a training session and a photograph with the squad in the new kit.
True Blues members will also receive 15% off in the club shop.
Founders Membership: £1,000 (Limited to 25 supporters)
And for those who want to become part of the story from the very beginning, there is Founders Membership.
Only 25 will ever be made available.
Founders’ members will receive everything included in the other 2027 membership levels, alongside a framed match-worn shirt from a named 2027 fixture and one of the first 25 founder member numbers the club has ever issued.
They will have a lead position on the founding members’ board at the Speed Competitions Stadium, two places at the end of season awards dinner, opportunity to access to the dressing room after a home game and the opportunity to take part in either the coin toss or guard of honour.
Founders will also receive two guest tickets to every home game, access to away director tickets, two tickets to the Challenge Cup Final and 20% off in the club shop.
The membership programme is part of a wider ambition to make Barrow Raiders the heartbeat of its community.
Whether you remember seeing Eddie Szymala take to the field and you have followed the club for decades, you have moved away from Barrow but never stopped being a Raider, or you have never been to a game before, there is now a way to have your own place in the club’s story.
And it is not just supporters we want to bring closer.
We will also be soon offering businesses the same opportunities, with partnership tiers designed to allow businesses of different sizes to get behind the Raiders and grow alongside the club and the town.
As our town goes through a period of incredible transformation and growth, we want Barrow Raiders to be the heartbeat of our community.
Whether you have been a club sponsor for years or have recently started a business, we want there to be something for you, and something to help you grow alongside us during this period.
This is more than a new crest.
It is a statement about where Barrow Raiders has come from, where the town is going and what this club can become.

And, in doing so, we will proudly put this new identity out into the world in the spirit of our town.
Surfacing: A new era for Barrow Raiders
The new era will officially begin on Friday 9 October 2026, when Barrow Raiders invites supporters, partners and the wider community to the Speed Competitions Stadium, for Surfacing: A New Era for Barrow Raiders.
Taking place in the MKM Marquee at 9am, the event will be the first opportunity to experience the club’s new identity and hear more about what comes next for Barrow Raiders.
But space is limited.
Tickets will be made available to the public on a strictly limited basis, meaning supporters who want to be there for the moment the new era is unveiled should secure their place early.
