Barrow Raiders are pleased to announce that Anita Brook has joined the club’s board of directors.

This move further strengthens the club’s leadership team as it continues to build for a successful future, both on and off the field.

Anita is a highly experienced Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over 25 years in practice and a proven track record of advising and growing businesses across the UK.

As the owner of multiple accountancy firms, she brings deep financial expertise, strategic insight and a strong commitment to community-led growth.

Her appointment reflects the club’s ambition to enhance its governance, financial sustainability and long-term development. Anita will play a key role in supporting the club’s commercial strategy, operational efficiency, and broader vision to strengthen its position within the game.

One of Anita’s accountancy firms, RF Miller & Co, are a long-established organisation that have proudly served the local community for over 100 years.

We were delighted to recently welcome RF Miller to our growing family of sponsors, with both parties clearly aligned on the benefits the partnership can bring.

Anita brings a wealth of business acumen and forward-thinking ideas to the table, and we strongly believe her contributions can help the club continue on an upward trajectory.

Her appointment comes at a pivotal time for the club as it looks to build momentum, invest in its infrastructure, and deepen its connection with supporters, partners and the wider Barrow community.

“I am incredibly proud to be joining Barrow Raiders as a director,” she said.

“The club has a rich history and a passionate community behind it. I’m excited to contribute my experience to help drive sustainable growth and support the club in achieving its ambitions, on and off the pitch.”

Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale said: “We are delighted to welcome Anita to the Board.

“Her expertise and energy will be invaluable as we continue to develop the club’s structure and future direction. This is an important step in strengthening our leadership and ensuring long-term success.”
