The club are currently working with the council to confirm overall capacity for the clash.
The Giants have won the Challenge Cup six times but haven’t reached the final since their 2009 defeat by Warrington Wolves, while the Raiders famously won the coveted trophy in 1955.
Paul Crarey’s side are one of five Betfred Championship clubs still in the Challenge Cup. They are joined in the last 16 by Featherstone Rovers, Whitehaven, Sheffield Eagles and Leigh Centurions.
A 32-18 victory over Cumbrian rivals Workington Town was enough to see the Raiders advance to the latest round of the competition.
In other fixture news, Castleford Tigers’ trip to Leeds Rhinos has been chosen for BBC coverage on Saturday 26 March (4:30pm kick-off).
Meanwhile, Premier Sports will show the all-Super League ties between Wigan Warriors and Salford Red Devils (Friday 25 March, 7:35pm) and Warrington Wolves vs Wakefield Trinity (Sunday 27 March, 2:00pm).
The Sportsman will live stream cup holders St Helens as they visit Whitehaven on Saturday 26 March at 2:00pm. It will be Saints’ first visit to the Recreation Ground since 2001 when they overcame spirited West Cumbrian resistance to triumph 34-22 en route to the Challenge Cup Final.
