Barrow Raiders can confirm that hooker Connor Saunders has joined Workington Town ahead of the 2024 season.
Saunders first featured for the Raiders on dual-registration from Ulverston in June 2022, making a memorable try scoring debut against Leigh and also collecting Man of the Match for his performance in a narrow 30-28 defeat.
He went on to make a further three appearances for the club in 2022, before being rewarded with his first professional deal ahead of the club’s 2023 Betfred Championship campaign.
Saunders make 12 appearances last season and scored once, but has now decided to move on in search of more regular game time.
