Barrow Raiders forward Tom Hopkins made his international debut for Wales during the recent international break.
The 29-year-old, one of six debutants in the Dragons’ 17-man matchday squad, came off the bench during Wales’ 34-10 defeat to France in Albi last weekend.
Meanwhile, half-back Jarrod Sammut started for Malta as they were beaten 30-14 by Lebanon on Wednesday night.

The 35-year-old travelled to Australia to feature for his national team at Canterbury’s Belmore Sports Ground as the two nations fought it out for the Elias-Fenech Trophy.
The match was Michael Cheika’s first in charge of Lebanon, although he was forced to watch the game from afar due to existing work commitments with Argentina’s national rugby union team.
Sammut started in the halves and kicked three goals for his national team.
