Barrow Raiders half-back Jarrod Sammut has been suspended for five matches, and fined £375, after being found guilty of a Grade E charge of disputing a decision “using aggressive language or body language” during the club’s Betfred Championship match at Halifax Panthers on June 25.
Sammut’s not guilty plea was rejected, meaning he will miss the Raiders’ upcoming Betfred Championship fixtures.
He will not be available for selection until the club’s Round 23 trip to Toulouse Olympique on Saturday 26 August.
