Barrow Raiders are looking for people with skills, enthusiasm and ideas to help drive our club forward. Could you be part of our team?

Barrow Raiders is about more than what happens on the rugby pitch. Behind every match, event and community initiative is a team of people working hard to make our club stronger, more successful and more sustainable.

We are looking for people from all backgrounds who want to get involved and make a difference.

Whether you have professional experience, practical skills, fresh ideas or simply a passion for Barrow Raiders, we would love to hear from you.

Opportunities across the club

We have opportunities available in a wide range of areas, including:

  • Media and communications: Photography, videography, social media, content creation, interviews and match reports
  • Marketing and promotions: Campaigns to grow attendances, attract new supporters, promote merchandise and raise the club’s profile
  • Commercial and sponsorship: Building business relationships, identifying new sponsors, developing partnerships and supporting existing commercial partners
  • Events and hospitality: Organising events, managing functions, supporting hospitality and helping develop our Raiders Marquee and non-matchday business
  • Grounds and facilities maintenance: Helping maintain and improve our stadium, playing surfaces, facilities and surrounding areas
  • Matchday operations: Supporting matchday activities, supporter experience, ticketing, hospitality, retail and general stadium operations
  • Community and rugby development: Helping strengthen our links with local schools, junior rugby, community organisations and local businesses
  • Administration and club support: Providing organisational, financial, IT and general business support

These are examples of the areas where people could make a valuable contribution. We are open to other ideas and skills that could benefit the club.

Flexible opportunities to suit you

We recognise that everyone has different circumstances and different amounts of time to offer.

Opportunities may include:

  • Volunteer roles for people who want to give something back to their club and community
  • Paid part-time positions for people looking for flexible employment
  • Paid specialist or project-based work where particular skills and experience are required
  • Flexible support opportunities for people who can contribute on matchdays, at events, or for a few hours each week

The right opportunity will depend on the role, the club’s needs and the skills you can bring.

Who are we looking for?

You do not need to have worked in professional sport to make a difference.

We would welcome interest from experienced professionals, tradespeople, students, creative individuals, business owners, rugby league supporters and people looking to develop new skills.

Above all, we are looking for people who are reliable, enthusiastic, willing to work as part of a team and committed to helping Barrow Raiders progress.

Help shape the future of Barrow Raiders

This is an opportunity to become involved with a historic rugby league club, contribute to its future and help create new opportunities, both on and off the field.

Tell us what you can offer. Tell us what interests you. Tell us how you could help.

You do not need to apply for a specific advertised position. We want to hear from people who believe they have something to contribute.

Interested?

Get in touch and tell us a little about yourself, your skills, your experience and the areas in which you would like to get involved.
