Barrow Raiders’ upcoming Betfred Championship fixture against Keighley Cougars on Sunday 11 June will be a celebration of inclusivity and diversity.
Ahead of the Round 14 clash, the club will be distributing tickets to different groups from across the region, including the LGBTQ+ community, care homes for the disabled, refugee centres and multicultural organisations.
Supporters are encouraged to dress up colourfully for the fixture.
The club have also booked hugely popular drag act Sassy Stryker, who will be performing after the game in the Raiders Marquee. This will be something completely different to entertain our post-match crowd, and we hope that supporters come along and show their support.
Chairman Steve Neale said: “As a club, Barrow Raiders is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion within our club.
“Our aim is to represent and celebrate individual differences across all sections of society, and for our staff, volunteers, teams and spectators to feel respected and valued.”
