Last week, Barrow Raiders and Barrow Raiders Ladies both returned to pre-season training.
Paul Crarey welcomed back many of the Raiders first team, including off-season recruit Ben Evans.

Amanda Wilkinson’s Ladies also returned for their first sessions, with a number of the squad taking part in gym work under the guidance of strength and conditioning coach Ste Hartle.
Some of the ladies also took part in rehabilitation sessions with physio Martin Williams.

On their return for pre-season, Barrow Raiders Ladies head coach Amanda Wilkinson said: “It was great to catch up with everyone. The girls were all keen to get back to it and they worked really hard. I’m sure their bodies will be feeling it now!
“It was also nice to have some new faces onboard as we continue preparations for the new season.”
Ladies strength and conditioning coach Ste Hartle added: “It’s all about gains in this first block, making sure individually the girls are doing the right types of training at the right times with good preparation and recovery.
