Barrow Raiders will face Betfred Super League side and dual-registration partners Salford Red Devils in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 18 January (2pm kick-off).
It will be the Raiders’ third and final friendly ahead of the 2025 season, all at the Northern Competitions Stadium.
Home games against Cumbrian rivals Whitehaven and Workington Town have already been confirmed for the two weekends prior.
Tickets are now on sale, priced at £12 for adults. Juniors will be able to attend free of charge.
Next season, the partnership between the Raiders and Red Devils will offer some of their first team, fringe and transition players the opportunity to gain regular first team minutes in the Betfred Championship.
Next month’s pre-season friendly could see some faces on the opposition side who will line up for the Raiders throughout the season, with several of the Red Devils’ development players expected to feature.
The Raiders will return to competitive action the weekend after the Salford friendly, when they host either Crosfields or Maryport in the second round of the Betfred Challenge Cup.
