Speed Competitions, one of the UK’s most reputable and trusted competition pages, have been unveiled as the new main club sponsors of Barrow Raiders.

The deal will run for at least the next two years, with the option to extend for a third.

The agreement also includes naming rights for the Raiders’ home ground, which will be known as the Speed Competitions Stadium moving forward.

Based in Millom, Speed Competitions have been changing the game in online competitions since launching in 2022.

They have paid out over £25m in prizes and built a loyal following across the UK, with thousands of winners every day.

Jack Townsend, director of Speed Competitions, said: “Becoming the main club sponsor of the Barrow Raiders is something that means a great deal to me personally, and to us as a local business.

Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale said: “I’m personally delighted to have Speed Competitions on board, and having met the team from Speed this week, I think that they will be fantastic partners of the club.
