Barrow Raiders currently have vacancies for club doctors to cover both the men’s and Betfred Women’s Super League teams, and a back-up physiotherapist to provide relief cover for the same two teams.
The doctor must be practicing and fully registered with the GMC and possess the appropriate indemnity insurance. There is a requirement to hold an RFL IMMOFP qualification or alternative as recognised by the RFL, but this qualification can be gained in-position.
The physiotherapist must be CSP & HCPC registered with a degree in physiotherapy, possess the appropriate indemnity insurance and hold an RFL IMMOFP qualification or alternative as recognised by the RFL. Again, this qualification can be gained in-position.
Consideration will be given to advanced nurse practitioners, paramedics, sports therapists and sports rehabilitators with appropriate experience considered by the RFL chief medical officer.
