Barrow Raiders’ upcoming trip to Toulouse Olympique in the Betfred Championship will now be played at Albi’s Stade Mazicou.

The fixture will also now kick-off at the earlier time of 5pm (4pm UK time) on Saturday 26 August.

As announced at the end of June, due to the organisation of the Rugby Union World Cup and more particularly the use of the Stade Ernest-Wallon as a base camp for Japan, Toulouse Olympique will not be able to play its games there from August.

As a result, for its two home games in August, Toulouse have decided to relocate to cities that are both touristic and important rugby league areas in France: Carcassonne (19/08) and Albi (26/08).

Albi’s Stade Mazicou is home to the Albi Tigers, who play in the French Elite 1 Championship.
