Barrow Raiders welcome Salford RLFC to the Northern Competitions Stadium this Saturday in Round 2 of the Betfred Championship.

The Raiders will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the 2026 season, after recording a 40-0 victory over Cumbrian rivals Workington Town on the opening day of the Championship campaign, before running out a resounding 76-4 win over Wigan St Judes in the Betfred Challenge Cup second round last weekend.

Tomorrow’s fixture will mark the inaugural meeting with the new phoenix side, and the first time a Barrow Raiders side has faced a Salford outfit since the 2003 season, when Salford City Reds ran out a 40-20 victory at Craven Park in the National League Cup quarter-final.

Below, we’ve compiled everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.
