Barrow Raiders are back at the Northern Competitions Stadium this Sunday as they host Swinton Lions in Round 21 of the Betfred Championship.

Paul Crarey’s men will be hoping to build upon their recent much-needed 31-24 victory away at Dewsbury Rams, and they face an equally pivotal clash this weekend.

The Raiders have a one-point advantage over the visitors in the table with 16 points, but there is very little room for error at this stage of the season with just six games remaining before the play-off ties at both ends of the spectrum.

Below, we’ve compiled everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.

SQUAD NEWS

Delaine-Gittens Bedward will miss this weekend’s action after picking up a one-match suspension that he incurred following the Halifax Panthers game. Jamie Pye will also be absent due to concussion protocols taking precedence. Wigan Warriors loanee Ryan Brown returns to duties with his parent club.

In their absence, Max Clarke returns to the squad, as does half-back Ryan Johnston, who goes into contention for the first time since picking up an injury following the clash away at Doncaster last month.

The Raiders will also have the services of Leigh Leopards loanee Kavan Rothwell for Sunday.
