Barrow Raiders lock horns with Cumbrian rivals Workington Town for the fourth time in 2022 this weekend.

Their Betfred Championship clash takes place at Derwent Park on Sunday 12 June, with kick-off at an earlier time of 2:00pm.

The Raiders have claimed a hat-trick of victories over Town this year, the most recent of which came via a 26-12 win at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium last month.

Paul Crarey’s side could climb up to fifth in the league table if other results go their way this weekend.

The Opposition

Workington have struggled for form in the early weeks of the season, losing their opening 12 league matches.

However, they did manage to pick up their first victory of 2022 against London Broncos last week and will be hoping to produce another solid performance on home soil.

Despite suffering a resounding 46-0 defeat away at Batley Bulldogs last Sunday,

Town have been worthy competitors against the Raiders in each of their previous three meetings since the turn of the year and mustn’t be taken lightly.
