Barrow Raiders suffered a 26-6 defeat at home to London Broncos in Round 21 of the Betfred Championship.
The Raiders fell behind early on as Corey Norman crossed for the game’s opening try, and a Dean Whare finish in the corner saw the Broncos move 12 points clear inside the opening 10 minutes.
Lewis Bienek crashed over for the visitors shortly after the midway point of the first half, and a Dalton Grant finish out wide saw them lead 20-0 at the break.
The second half started brightly for the Raiders when Adam Jackson’s grubber kick was dotted down by Rio Corkill, who scored on his first appearance in two months.
However, Whare’s second of the afternoon, not long after the hour mark, put the result beyond doubt.
With a week off due to cup finals weekend, the Raiders are next in action on Monday 21 August, when they visit local rivals Whitehaven.
