Barrow Raiders are delighted to announce the signing of prop forward Callum Bustin on a one year deal. Callum returns to rugby league having had a pandemic disrupted spell in union with Carnegie. There were a number of clubs chasing his signature but Raiders fought them off with the offer of a joint community role swinging the deal. Callum will add power and formidable size to our front-row and ensure there is competition for places in an area that had been identified by the coaching team as needing reinforcement.

Callum, aged 23, was signed by Castleford Tigers in 2017 and although not able to make the first grade he enjoyed successful loan spells at Newcastle Thunder and Bradford Bulls before the Bulls made the signing permanent for the 2019 season.

Callum will be relocating to the area and this is a tremendous opportunity to begin a settled spell at a club and for his career to develop and help the Raiders in their promotion push.

Welcome to the club Callum.
