Barrow Raiders are saddened and shocked to hear the news of the passing of our Furness Raiders team manager, Keith Nutter.
The club held Keith in the highest regard and we offer our heartfelt condolences to Keith’s family and especially his wife Trisha and daughters Kathy and Louise.
Active as former Director, fundraiser and ultimately a supporter, Keith was instrumental in overseeing the Ground Development Fund, setting up the Super Lotto Youth Development Program and the formation of the Furness Raiders College team.
One of the Club’s historians, Keith was involved in publishing a series of books detailing the club’s history since 1875 and some of the players along that journey. Keith also had an active involvement with nominations for the Club’s Hall of Fame.
A family man, extremely popular and Rugby League through and through. RIP Keith. You will be sadly missed by us all.
