Iaria jets in and is ready to roll
Anton Iaria arrived in the UK on Friday afternoon and is keen to get moving in a Raiders shirt. After joining in Friday night’s training session, the new recruit will be assessed as to whether he’ll get a stint in Raiders first pre-season friendly on Sunday.

Iaria, 25, featured for Penrith’s New South Wales Cup team in 2021 before the season was cut short due to the pandemic. He has also played Queensland Cup for the East Tigers, who are Melbourne Storm’s feeder club.
The prop forward joins the club on a one-year deal and has won four caps for Italy on the international stage, helping them qualify for the upcoming Rugby League World Cup.
