Barrow Raiders have entered a new partnership with independent sales and letting agents Corrie and Co, who have agreed to become official partners of the club’s Betfred Women’s Super League side.

Barrow Ladies are currently taking part in their debut season in Group 1 of the Women’s Super League.

Amanda Wilkinson’s side recently picked up their historic first win in the division – a 22-10 victory over Featherstone Rovers at the end of May – and have also performed admirably against several top sides, including Wigan Warriors, York Valkyrie and most recently Leeds Rhinos.

Corrie & Co are a local and experienced, family run estate agency covering the south of Cumbria.

Their multi award-winning team have years of experience in letting and selling homes, and pride themselves on making house moves as stress-free as possible.

Corrie and Co general manager Melanie Corrie said: “We are delighted and excited to be teaming up with Barrow Ladies this season.

“We have a team of strong women working in Corrie and Co, one of which has played rugby too! As a company, we like to empower all, but love to see women at their best.

“Barrow Ladies are doing so well, and their involvement in the Women’s Super League is both great for the town and its young people, who will hopefully be inspired to pick up a rugby ball in the future.”

Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale said: “Our ladies team have more than held their own at the top table of women’s rugby league in the UK during the opening rounds of the season.
