Barrow Raiders’ Betfred Challenge Cup third round tie against Oldham will take place at 12:30pm on Saturday 10 February, having been selected for live BBC coverage.

The BBC Sport cameras will return to Craven Park for the first time since March 2022, when Paul Crarey’s side gave Super League Huddersfield Giants a scare in the sixth round of the competition before succumbing to a battling 30-16 defeat.

The Raiders defeated Betfred League One outfit Workington Town 30-8 in the opening round of the 1895 Cup group stages last weekend, but Sean Long’s Oldham will travel in confidence having beaten 1895 Cup holders Halifax Panthers in their opening group match.

Oldham also defeated Barrow 20-6 when the sides last met in the competition in 2021.

Barrow Raiders against Oldham will be streamed live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport online on Saturday 10 February from 12.20pm.

It will be one of two third round ties to be broadcast, with The Sportsman covering an all-Championship affair between newly-promoted Dewsbury Rams and York Knights the following day.
