Barrow Raiders are delighted to announce the signing of Harry Swarbrick

Harry has been on trial with the club and joined the start of training back in November having been recommended  by the Walne brothers, who saw his potential at Salford. Harry has versatility on his side and can cover a number of positions but was thrown in at hooker in the Challenge Cup tie at Oldham and performed with credit. Coach Paul Crarey can see a lot of potential in Harry and thinks he can work with him to improve his all-round game and become a stand-out player. Following the cup game there were a couple of clubs that became aware that he was trialling and started to show interest, so the club is happy to get his signature on the dotted line.

Harry played for the Salford Academy side and has had spells in Rugby Union but is now looking forward to the challenge. In his short time with the club he has been the model professional, putting 100% into every session, and has shown a willingness to listen and learn. Harry could turn in to a real find for the club. Welcome onboard.

Harry is pictured with Players Director, Andy Gaffney, who led the way with contract negotiations on behalf of the club.
