Barrow Raiders’ Betfred Challenge Cup campaign continues this weekend as they welcome Workington Town to the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium in the fifth round of the competition.
The game kicks off at 1:00pm on Sunday and will be shown live on BBC Sport.
Paul Crarey’s side remain unbeaten in 2022 and have progressed to this stage of the Challenge Cup thanks to a 38-12 victory against Rochdale Hornets at the Crown Oil Arena in Round 4.
Despite being separated by 10 places in the Betfred Championship league table, it promises to be a tough fixture in front of a large and vocal crowd.
The opposition

Workington Town are yet to win a league game this season, conceding 170 points in four matches and scoring just 38. However, Raiders head coach Paul Crarey was quick to allude to the threats posed by Chris Thorman’s squad in his pre-match notes.
The two sides met in pre-season action at the start of January, with the Raiders triumphing 24-12 in tough conditions at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium.
Following Sunday’s clash, Town are set to return to the home of the Raiders in May as the sides square off in league action.
