Attention turns back to league action this Sunday as Barrow Raiders make the trip to Widnes Vikings in Round 6 of the Betfred Championship.
Paul Crarey’s side come into this fixture on the back of a battling 38-24 defeat away at Oldham in the 1895 Cup quarter-final last weekend.
Despite making a strong start to their league campaign thus far, the Raiders will be keen to end their two-game losing streak, after their last bout in the Championship ended in a disappointing 36-12 defeat at home to York Knights. Standing in their way this Sunday is a strong Vikings outfit who have picked up three wins from their opening four league outings.
Below, we’ve compiled everything you need to know ahead of the fixture.

Squad news
The 21-man squad has been named ahead of our trip to Widnes.
Matt Costello, Tom Wilkinson and Kavan Rothwell return to the line-up, replacing Brett Carter, Fin Dutton-Rosconie and Dan Knott, who were selected in last weekend’s squad.
Front-rower Joe Bullock will also feature as he looks to make his second debut for the club after joining on a short-term basis from Salford Red Devils, while Jamie Pye goes the other way, appearing for the Super League outfit in their 28-0 defeat to Leeds Rhinos on Thursday.
