There was late heartbreak for Barrow Raiders as Swinton Lions snatched a 20-18 victory in the Betfred Championship.
In a cagey first half, Ryan Shaw and Dan Abram exchanged penalty goals before the opening try of the contest came two minutes before half-time.
Shane Toal was the scorer, finishing off a slick move towards the left flank to bag his second try in as many matches.
The Lions levelled matters at 6-6 early in the second half when Jayden Hatton flew over in the corner.
Greg Worthington then spotted a gap and finished for the Raiders to notch his 100th career try, but the hosts closed the gap again shortly after the hour mark when Andrew Badrock scored to make it 10-12.
A darting effort from Ryan Johnston looked to have won it as the Raiders moved 18-10 ahead as the game entered the final 10 minutes.
However, there was to be a late sting in the tail as Josh Eaves powered over to make it a two-point ball game before Jordan Gibson squeezed down the touchline and crashed over to win it for the Lions in the final two minutes.
The Raiders are next in action away at York RLFC Knights on Sunday 26 February (3:00pm kick-off).
