Raiders squad to face Workington Town

Paul Crarey has named his squad for this weekend’s Cumbrian Derby clash. New loan signing, Matty Costello from Salford Red Devils, goes straight into the squad after a great training session on Friday night. Also making a return to the 21-man squad is Shane Toal and Gary Wheeler. Ryan Shaw misses out due to an ankle injury; whilst Jarrod Sammut has been released for international duty and is set to earn his 14th cap for Malta in the Medieval Shield.

Sunday marks the beginning of a thrilling double-header for Barrow Raiders.

First up, history will be made for Barrow Raiders Ladies, who will take to the field at midday for their first-ever game in the Betfred Women’s Super League.

The opponents will be Warrington Wolves, with tickets priced at £5. Supporters who cheer on the Ladies will also be entitled to a free £5 food/drink voucher to use at the stadium.

Following this, the Barrow Raiders clash against Workington Town will kick-off at 3:00pm.
