Barrow Raiders Ladies will visit Huddersfield Giants Women for a pre-season friendly ahead of the upcoming season.
The game will be a real test for the Raiders Ladies as they come up against a Giants side that competed in Group 1 of the Betfred Women’s Super League in 2023 – the same division Barrow will compete in next year following their promotion via the play-offs.
The pre-season friendly will take place on Sunday 25 February at Laund Hill, with a kick-off time of 2pm.
Amanda Wilkinson will use the fixture as an opportunity to give her squad vital minutes ahead of the new season, with preparations continuing ahead of their debut campaign at the highest level of women’s club rugby league in the UK.
The fixture could also see new signing Jodie Crawford make her Raiders Ladies debut, with more fresh faces set to join the squad over the coming weeks – one of which is expected to be confirmed in the next 48 hours.
The club will continue to liaise with Huddersfield Giants, and ticket information will be confirmed via the Raiders’ official social media channels as soon as possible.
