Following the success of the pre-match VIP event celebrating our 150 years of history ahead of the club’s Round 1 clash with Hunslet, we have players from a different era lined up for a special Q&A before our game against Oldham on Sunday 9 March.
Phil Atkinson and Darren Holt are attending, and the club are waiting on Brett McDermott and Mike Backhouse to confirm.
The event starts at the slightly earlier time of 12.30pm until 2.30pm and will cost £35, including match entry (discounted to £20 for season ticket holders, £5 children). There will be lunch and a complementary bar.
The proceedings will start with presentation of the shirts of our Betfred Women’s Super League squad members and a look-ahead to the new season with head coach Amanda Wilkinson and some of her leading players.
Lunch will be served, and then we will look back at the careers of our stars of yesterday.
PLEASE NOTE: The MKM marquee will only be accessible to those with a ticket for the event, but the public will be able to access from 2:30pm.
