On the draw, head coach Amanda Wilkinson said: “The Challenge Cup is always a great competition, and it’s very pleasing to see that we will get the opportunity to play Super League Group 1 team York, as we haven’t played them before and it’s all part of the Super League experience for the team.
“Leigh will be a challenging game as they are a quality team, and last season we had to dig deep for the win.

“I don’t know too much about the Hull KR team but it’s always tough playing any team from Hull so again it will be a good experience for the girls.
“We are excited about the new format this season, of playing the fixtures during the regular season as opposed to before it like last year.”
