Barrow Raiders supporters are urged to visit the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium on Sunday for an exciting feast of rugby league action.

First up, history will be made for Barrow Raiders Ladies, who will take to the field at midday for their first-ever game in the Betfred Women’s Super League.

The opponents will be Warrington Wolves, with tickets priced at £5. Supporters who cheer on the Ladies will also be entitled to a free £5 food/drink voucher to use at the stadium.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, we caught up with Ladies heads coach Amanda Wilkinson. Read her thoughts here.

Following this, the Raiders men’s team will face long-standing Cumbrian foes Workington Town, with kick-off at 3:00pm.

The sides have already met twice in 2022, with Paul Crarey’s men victorious on both occasions, winning 24-12 in pre-season and 32-18 in Round 5 of the Betfred Challenge Cup.

The Raiders will look to record a hat-trick of wins over their local rivals, who have lost each of their opening 10 league matches.

  • Concessions: £10 (£12 pay on the gate)
